Great experience with this tour! We did the Drinking History - Legends and Laneways Tour on our first evening in Melbourne, and it was a great way to start our trip while learning about the city. Bridgette (Crazy Cat Lady) was an excellent host - informative, personable and funny with some great stories (and even better cat photos if you ask!)

3 hours well spent This is the second tour of Melbourne that we have done and it was as good as the first.
We were fortunate to have Bridgette (Crazy Cat Lady) as our guide on both occasions. She is extremely knowledgeable and tells some great stories about Melbourne, the laneways and bars and the dark past.

So much fun! I do a ghost/true crime tour in every city I visit, and this one was the best that I've down so far! The stories were great, and the the bars were perfect. Tess did an amazing job as a tour guide: it was a super hot day so it could have been rough, but she made it really fun and comfortable.

Bridget Bluestone waxes lyrical on Melbourne's seedy history. Tour was so much fun and Bridget (Bluestone) was the most enthusiastic and engaging guide I've ever come across. The stories were fascinating and the bars we visited really cute and in a great location. The final bar (Speakeasy) was brilliant. Such great value and a brilliant way to spend a Saturday afternoon and evening.

Whisky and Gin Joints Tour experience - January 2025 I joined a tour led very capably by Lenny. He provided lots of information and some good humour as we walked the Melbourne city streets and visited three bars with specialties in whisky and gin over more than 3 hours. Although I am a local, I was unfamiliar with these venues but will certainly return with people I know in the future. At each venue we were provided with a paddle of three tastings. Whilst I enjoy both whisky and gin, I broadened my knowledge and tasted an interesting variety of products none of which I had previously come across but several of which I hope to try again! Lenny was also able to recommend a number of other bars around the city centre to explore. It was a fun afternoon which I would recommend for anyone keen to discover great places to have a drink in Melbourne and taste Australian whiskies and gins.

Fun was to see the City (and learn some history) This was a last minute booking which gave us a fun afternoon with 5 other guests, plus our friendly Guide Michael. Learned some fun facts about Melbourne and it's colorful past. The boys drank craft beers that weren't the run of the mill "on tap" variety beers. Downside for me, NZ Sav Blanc wasn't to be found in any of the bars. Found some cute hidden drinking spots though (stopping at 3 of them) and had a nice time chatting to the other guests. Michael made the afternoon fun - he obviously enjoys his job. I would recommend this experience to other travelers.

An interesting tour of laneways, artwork bars, history and people. This tour company gives you what you pay for folks 👌👌 We were running a little late for the start but when we arrived, our tour guide Bridgette and the rest of the people in the tour were very understanding and we set off. Bridgette was very informative on all facets of the tour and kept us informed. The 3 bars that we visited in the tour were all different and very, very interesting. The times we all had a drink, we all got to know each other and from the time we were together, we found some really interesting and nice people to chat with whom we would love to bump into, at other opportunities and times.

Our guide, Tom, is a passionate student of history and conveys it in a very entertaining and informative way. One could explore Melbourne's historical landmarks for months but this is a great way to get the abridged version over a few hours. Plus the 3 funky bars we got to check out were places we would have never found without this tour. Thoroughly recommended.

Australian “Scotch is excellent. Vast knowledge of the history of booze and its affect on the early days of the city. Great way to see this history of the city. It was three hours of very interesting. Booze was pretty good also. Did not like last bar that requested tips on drinks. Nowhere else in Australia or New Zealand asked for tips. Will not be going back to that place.

Exercise and bars - winner This is a great tour the tour guides are top notch. Fab way to experience Melbourne in 3 hours and learn stories and history. Nice to walk around while enjoying 3 bars.

Best birthday present idea Lenny was the best tour for our tour. My friend and I did this together and we learned so much and really enjoyed all the fun facts. We have both done a few tours now and Lenny was by far the best one we have had as he also took the time to get to know all the people on the tour as well. 10/10 recommended and would love to do another tour with him!

Hidden Bars and laneway legends revealed. Brigette led our group of 15 (we were a family group of four adults) on the ‘Hidden Bars and Laneway Legends’ tour with lots of energy and great knowledge. We learnt lots about our own city and its alcohol inspired past. Bars were varied, drinks were tasty. A great experience. Highly recommend.
