5/5 Great Tour, great stops, Great guide. Jay our tour guide was awesome. Took us through some great spots with some rich history of Melbourne. The bars were great and the stories were so interesting, and spooky.

A great way to see the city A really fun way to see a side of Melbourne we didn't know about, and get to visit some really cool bars along the way. Tom was great, and the time allowed at the bars was perfect. The walk is not too taxing and when you finish for the night you can stay at the last bar and continue socialising with those you've met on the tour. I would highly recommend!

Stories, Speakeasies & Street Art With Cocktails My husband and I spent an evening on a walking history tour of Melbourne with our guide Maria, and it turned out to be one of the most fun ways to explore the city. She shared the origins of Melbourne with plenty of personality, led us through colourful artwork tucked into hidden laneways, and AC/DC Lane and Hosier Lane were clear highlights. Along the way she pointed out secret speakeasy locations, walked us through the old red light district, showed historic theatres and an old-school men’s club, and kept the night moving with cocktails at several bars. After the tour they sent us maps and local tips for the rest of our time in Melbourne, which was a really nice touch. Great stories, great walk, great way to see a different side of the city — highly recommend.

Laneways Discovery Tour. We thoroughly enjoyed our hidden bars and laneways tour. We saw quirky and interesting parts of our great city that we hadn’t seen before; and enjoyed a drink at a few bars that we would never have found ourselves. The tour was made all the more enjoyable by our personable and knowledgeable tour guide Jay.

Fabulous tour Bridgette was fabulous! We had a wonderful night - learnt so much about Melbourne, visited places we would never have seen on our own, and met some fabulous people. Bridgette was a wealth of knowledge about Melbourne, bars and alcohol - and also cricket (all of which appealed to us!)

A Wonderful Way To Learn More About Melbourne This tour was rich in history and culture. Tess our guide created a great comradery among the group from the outset, and had a great knack of engaging with each and every person. The tour itself and the historical information provided was fascinating. I laughed, at times head a tear in my eye and with Tess' descriptions was really able to imagine what the scene must have been like with each tale. A great way to explore Melbourne’s history A great tour with a very knowledgeable guide in Jay. We went as a family group of 11 and had a great time exploring hidden laneways and bars. Would highly recommend going in this tour.

Great tour leader, informative and fun! On arrival, I was greeted by Jay with a big smile. Jay was super welcoming and approachable. He made me feel quite comfortable and introduced everyone in the group to eachother. During the tour, we visited 3 bars and had a bunch of stops inbetween to talk about historical events and tales of the area. Jay was super knowledgeable and answered any questions the group had along the way. He kept our spirits high despite the rain and made sure we had a laugh along the way. Great tour and leader, would recommend to others!

Interesting stories of Melbourne with an engaging guide! Tess lead us on a relaxed and entertaining stroll around Melbourne telling interesting stories of the cities past and present. Add into the fun we went into three unique bars. Tess was very engaging and knowledgeable and made all the guests welcome. I would recommend the tour!

Fun and interesting tour The tour was made so interesting by Tom who is an excellent story teller . The bars were awesome and learning some Melbourne history was great . The communication from the company was fantastic and kept us in the loop right down to the map where to meet and the link to the weather I would highly recommend this tour .

A must do!! Brigitte really is the best thing since sliced bread! We didn’t know what to expect when we booked this tour but had an experience we will never forget for all the right reasons!

Cocktails + history = FUN! This was such a fun experience. We booked it last minute and weren’t sure what to expect, but our guide, TESS, was spectacular. Right from the beginning, she had us engaged in the history and stories of old Melbourne. She took us to 3 really cool cocktail bars and in between the stops she told us all kinds of great historical facts and Information that we never would’ve learned otherwise.
We take a lot of guided tours, and so often the guide’s energy and delivery is a bit boring and bland, and it’s hard to pay attention and retain the information. But Tess was just the opposite. She was fully engaged with all of us, and it felt like she truly enjoys her role as tour guide. She gave us all kinds of recommendations for other places to check out, and it made our visit to Melbourne that much better. I’m so glad we did this tour on our first day in Melbourne, because it really enhanced the rest of our trip. Thank you Tess! Five stars!
