The following information is relevant for those who have made a booking with us. A copy of the below is provided at the time of booking:
I understand and agree that during the tour in which I will participate, under the arrangements of Drinking History Tours and its agents, employees, associates, affiliated companies, or subcontractors, certain risks and dangers may arise, including, but not limited to, acts of God, the forces of nature, dangers and risks inherent in walking activities, the negligent or reckless acts or omissions of Drinking History Tours, its agents, employees, officers, directors, associates, affiliated companies, or subcontractors.

Drinking History Tours shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused to any traveller in connection with any of the above activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside the travel agent’s control.

In consideration of, and as a part of the payment for, the right to participate in such tours and as a part of the payment for, the services arranged for me by Drinking History Tours and its agents, employees, associates, affiliated companies, or subcontractors, I DO HEREBY EXPRESSLY ASSUME ALL OF THE ABOVE RISKS, including, to the extent permitted by law, the risk of negligent or reckless acts or omissions of Drinking History Tours, its agents, employees, officers, directors, associates, affiliated companies, or subcontractors, and I DO HEREBY EXPRESSLY AGREE TO FOREVER RELEASE, DISCHARGE AND HOLD Drinking History Tours and its agents, employees, officers, directors, associates, affiliated companies, and subcontractors, HARMLESS against any and all liability, actions, causes of action, debts, suits, claims, and demands of any and every kind and nature whatsoever which I now have or which may hereafter arise out of or in connection with my participation in any activities arranged for me by Drinking History Tours and its agents, employees, associates, affiliated companies, or subcontractors.
THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL SERVE AS A COMPLETE RELEASE AND EXPRESS ASSUMPTION OF RISK for myself, my heirs, assignees, administrators, executors, and all members of my family, including any minors accompanying me.

I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE PROVISIONS AND THE LEGAL CONSEQUENCES OF THIS RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND I HEREBY AGREE TO ALL OF ITS CONDITIONS. I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT Drinking History Tours HAS RECOMMENDED THAT I HAVE MY ATTORNEY REVIEW THIS RELEASE PRIOR TO MY SIGNING IT.

I further agree that any legal dispute involving these travel services shall be heard only by the courts of Victoria, Australia., and in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. I acknowledge that in calculating the cost of the tour or trip, Drinking History Tours has relied on my consent to these terms and on their enforceability. In the absence of this Release, the tour cost would have been higher, or, alternatively, Drinking History Tours would be unable to offer these services.

Cancellation policy

Guest must cancel their tour at least 24 before the scheduled start time to be eligible to receive a refund, minus booking fee, or a gift voucher to the same value as their booked tour, and may rebook their tour any time within 3 years of receiving their new voucher.

Any cancellations made less than 24 hours before a tour starts are non-refundable.

Guest no show

In the event a guest doesn’t attend their designated tour at the time and date for which they booked, this will be considered the same as a last minute cancellation, and is non-refundable.

Gift Vouchers

Any gift voucher purchased after November 2019 will have a validity period of three years dated from the time of purchase. Gift vouchers purchased before that time will have a validity period of 12 months from the time of purchase. Redeeming a voucher is the sole responsibility of the consumer and validity periods for vouchers cannot be extended under any circumstances.

Marketing collateral

DRINKING HISTORY TOURS hire photographers and videographers to accompany our tours to capture content for, but not limited to, our social media, website and EDM channels.

By purchasing a tour, I hereby consent and agree that DRINKING HISTORY TOURS has the right to take or use photographs of me (and/or my property) and to use these in any and all media worldwide including online, now or hereafter known, and for any purpose whatsoever.
I hereby release to the Photographer all rights to exhibit this work in print and electronic form publicly or privately and to market copies. I waive any rights, claims or interest I may have to control the use of my identity or likeness in the photographs and agree that any uses described herein may be made without compensation or additional consideration of me.
I represent that I am at least 18 years of age, have read and understand the foregoing statement, and am competent to execute this agreement.
